Greenaway Architecture, in collaboration with Lichen Studio, are in the process of developing a vision for improving the historic Cotswold market town of Minchinhampton on behalf of the local Parish Council.

The vision is to revitalise Minchinhampton Town Centre to be a more sustainable, inclusive and people-centric environment, creating an accessible public realm where pedestrians have priority over vehicles. Befitting of the heritage of the place and to better serve the community.

A public survey was conducted in 2024 to better understand how the community and local residents feel about the town, what concerns them and how things could be improved.

Greenaway Architecture and the consultant team are now developing a public realm and placemaking strategy to align with the public’s feedback. Further public consultation is ongoing over the summer of 2025.
